She Tells of the Opening Meeting of the Children's Feyer Dancing Class en Saturday DID you ever fcce anything Hke the rends te nnd from Princeton en Saturday? It seemed te me ns If It were one long continuous line of meters from the Keulcvnnl en nnd en out the Lincoln Highway. And befere I started I saw the grcatcsjt number of parties all bundled up in furs, nnd overcoats, and veils, getting into cars nnd going off, all laughter and rosy checks and S saw a let of the debutantes up there. Gertrude Dougherty and Isabel Frar went with Graham Dougherty and his wife, nnd Alberta Heath and Dorethy Redgcrs, who are great friends, hy the way, were there sitting with Fritz Drayten and Hnrry Ncllsen. Sarah Starr or rather Legan Starr as 8he is called, went up with a crowd, nnd Anne Ash ten and her father and mother and fccvernl girls nnd boys were at the game. Helen Hepe Montgomery with another crowd of people. It really seemed as if Philadelphia had moved up te Princeton for the week end. It was simply glorious ; the clear, cold air, the songs of the opposing sides, and the general excitement were won derful, and when Princeton wen in the last five minutes I thought the place would go mad. CU'EAKING of debutantes, Jnnctllelt O Htrnwbrldge will be guest of honor at a large luncheon which her mother, .Airs. Geerge Helt Strawbridge, will give at the Acorn Club en the twenty-second of this month. Janet is the second of the Strawbridge girls. Her sister Helen came out a ceuple of years age, and they spent Inst summer traveling in Europe with Rachel Baker and several ether girls. Janet is very musical and really studies seriously. She is profi cient at the piano, and has decided tal ent. She is tnll nnd very grnceful, with pretty, light hnir nnd brown eyes, while Helen hnH rather dark hair. I remem ber at Helen's tea hew very sweet she was, tee. She made an impression en me, net only because of her prettiness, but she were a pink frock which was most becoming. Most of the debutantes wear white at their teas, and while it is very pretty, the pink frock was out of the eruinnry and I liked it muchly. Scvcrnl dinners will be given in Janet's honor during the season, both here and in New Yerk, where she will attend scvcrnl parties. Tnn death of Mrs. Jehn B.
