distinguished contributor to the operatic

in nil of the concerted numbers.
The entire performance moved with
unusual precision. The chorus and the
little stage pageant of the second act
were in hnrmony, vocally nnd otiicr

the large orchestra, under the direction
of Gaetnno Mcrola, gave a fine nnd fin
ished rending of the beautiful instru
