"High Tide." '
In the slow old days men cjit logs in ,
the mountains all the year, slid them
down on the snow to the streams in win
ter, and floated theni down to market
on the spring freshets. The lumber sup
ply had just one "high tide" in the year.
But "The world do move," and lumber has
to move much faster in these days.' With all
the incessant drain on our stocks they must
always be kept full, always at high tide, always
ready, to meet the growing demands of our
grdwing list of customers.
And so our organization must be kept
always growing, in order to keep its efficiency
at high-water mark. We are planning new
and larger quarters here in Philadelphia, new
concentration and shipping centres in the
South, and greater facilities at every point for
keeping stocks at "high tide."
In building you wijl find that you are
always needing more than you planned or pro
vided for. We are always plahning to meet
that extra-demand.
Some day you'll build. If you want the
work finished on time, see that the lumber
comes from LLOYD. . .
