William Parker, a negro, nineteen years old, of Nineteenth and Panama streets, and Charles Myers, twenty two years, Thirteenth and Hush streets, wero held without bail by Magistrate Pcnnock for further hearing. Parker was partially identified by Moore. A third participant in the crime is sought by the police. Patrolman Hamilton, Branchtown station, was accosted near Broad and Rockland streets about 2:30 o'clock this morning by a woman in nn auto, who told him a man was being attacked in a garage at -1010 North Brond street. The woman said she had stopped there to buy oil and had witnessed the assault. She drove away while Hamil ton hastened to the scene. He found Moore, who is employed at the garage, lying on the floor, his hands and feet bound, and an ntito duster tied about his face. His head and body were bruised and bleeding. An auto axle, the weapon used, lay nearby. Moore was unconscious. Hamilton, after sending tho injured man to the hospital, arrested Parker and Myers, whom he found in the neighborhood. Moore, after partially reviving, told Detective") Beeves and Graham that he had been beaten and robbed of 5.04 by three men, who entered the garage os tensibly to purchase gasoline. As he turned to serve them, he said, he was struck over the head with the axle. The identity of the woman who noti fied Hamilton is not known to the po lice. L. B. Baker, 5732 AVnlnut street. was held up and robbed this morning by two nrmed men who leaped from an automobile at Fnrragut and Chest nut streets. They flashed revolvers iu Baker's face and demanded his valu ables. He was robbed of .$" in money nnd n watch and chain valued at 5-3.
