Our forces "over there" can advance only as you advance. If you slacken your efforts here, the big drive on Berlin must slow down. Overalls and jumpers express as much patriotism as khaki and shoulder straps. The bench is as potent as the bayonet. Forging a gun is as glorious a task and as necessary as firing a gun. YOU must first make the shells before they can be hurled at the enemy. Before the Yanks can break the Hun line YOU must first build the ships to carry them across. And then they cannot fight unless YOU keep them supplied with a never-ceasing stream of food, clothing and ammunitions of all kinds. No boy in khaki can ever be decorated for bravery on the field of battle unless YOU furnish him with the resources pf battle. It's a man's-sized job this, one that requires ALL our strength and energy, ALL our enthusiasm and loyalty; a job which demands that ALL of us do our utmost ALL of the time. But think of the reward VICTORY the curse of Prussian militarism forever crushed, peace and security for you, your loved ones and all the world for all time. More, you will have the satisfaction of knowing that YOU played a man's part in the struggle for freedom. There must be no slackers or shirkers in the Industrial Army of Victory, no dissensions anywhere, no strife or strikes. We. must stand together, shoulder to shoulder, and work for the common cause. The boys in the trenches do not strike or flit from job to job in search of higher pay or a softer berth. They do not work with one eye on the time clock. THEY are at it night and day day and night cheerfully, everlastingly at it. The Workshop Is the First-Line Trench on the Home Front Get on the Firing Line, Men, and Stick to Your Job Until Victory Is Won This campaign is supported in the interests of the "Win the War" movement by the following manufacturing interests, financial institutions, -firms and individuals: T.
