Certificates Decline to 25, Without Any Ap parent Cause for Their Loss Other Changes Are Few and Uninteresting The Philadelphia stock market opened extremely dull again today and no response was shown here to higher prices recorded at the opening on ths New York Exchange. There were large attendances In brokers' board roomi, but more Interest was shown In watching the ticker tape for late news on the situation on the French battlefields than to trading. Generally thre was a disposition to wait for a more definite trend on the big boanl before making commitments. Virtually all business was In small, odd lots and, outside of a sharp break for Rapid Transit trust certificates, which declined 1 points to 25, price changes were unimportant. The weakness of Rapid Transit was un explained, but some persons ventured the opinion that a few holders hat become anxious lest there might not be an early advance In fares and sold their holdings when there was no market for the certificates. Electric Storage Battery gained M, but by tne end of the first hour Lake) Superior Corporation, Philadelphia Electric, United Gas Improvement, Phila delphia National Bank warrants and Pennsylvania Railroad were all un changed.
