' inj Battalion, will make application within f the next two daye for the second series of , officers' training camps, scheduled to open J August 17. Application blanks were taken 1 out at the enrollment headquarters In the H6tel Colonnade Building today, t Is ex- ' petted that all will be filed by tomorrow. The battalion was organized last May. It Is composed of many young men of this city who were accepted but not called for Fort Niagara, and who decided to spend virtually all their spare time In drilling to prepare for the second camp. The drills are held every weekday on Franklin Field and the schedule will be continued throughout the summer under the direction of Sergeants Daniel Caldwell and Nathan E. Numbers, of the United States army Announcement has been made that the battalion probably will parade on the Fourth of July with other organizations In the central section of the city.
