Dear Jlodam I have been In love with n. Ctrl

Timid About Calls
To tho Editor of It'omau's Page:
Dear Madam I attended a dinner about two

I am suro if I eer meet ihpm by myself I will
be shy and have nothing to say. Must I pay u

do for my llance to tako me some evening for
a visit? JIEOINA.
You could, of course, go somo evening
with your fiance, but !t would bo far better
to call on your hostess in the afternoon by
yourself. You evidently Buffer from shyness,
and. my dear, thero ia no better euro for
difflldenco than to squarely face the diffi

intend to marry you will want to bo a
good hostess nnd make your husband feel
that his frlenda will always receive a
gracious welcotno In his homo. So over
come this timidity and you will soon forget
that you ever felt It.
Hair Too Dry
To the Editor of Woman's Pane:
Dear Madam My hair, when I comb it, cracks

Brush your hair regularly every night
after taking It down, using a, long, gentle
stroke, until you feel tho blood circulating
Then apply a little white vaseline to the
roots with the tips of tho lingers, gently
massaging tho scalp. It Is better to let
your hair hang loose at night. If it Is nec
essary to curl it, put it up first thing in the
morning, and by the time you are dressed
it will be waud.

Uut tho veneer of civilization Is a won

"Dicky I always thoughtful, lint he?"
I snld calmly, "nnd these are unusually

I'ltllnn won wearing a flahie-colored
gown, daringly cut. It was an evening

when I saw her living room, ICvcn her silly

Mrs. Underwood gave mo a quick, curious

She hcMtiited for a moment, us If

As Mrs. Underwood moved toward the

Tho alligator pears, however, are com
