Plans Ncarinu Completion for Huying St. Paul French Bonds
It Is understood that plans for the purchase of St. Paul bonds of the Krenrh
Issue, a part of which were used as collateral for n loan to tho Rothschilds of
Tarls, made by J. P. Morgan & Co. Inst summer, are Hearing completion. It Is
proposed to put out a new Issue of 4 per cent, bonds which will mature on the
some dnte ns those of tho French ssue 192.1 and It Is thought likely that a
syndicate will be formed to underwrite the new bonds and offer them for public
subscription. The old bonds, it is stnted. will simply bo placed in the treasury
of tho company and kept nlle during the remainder of the period for which
they are to run, nlthough no Interest will be paid on them.
