The cause of all' ague and billions diseases is the atmospheric poison called Miasma or Malaria. Neutralize this poison by its Natural Antidote, and all disease caused by it disap* pears at oqco. Rhodes’ Fever and Ague Cure is this Anti dote to Malaria, and moreover it is a perfectly harmless medicine. The certificate of the celebrated chemist, J. R. Chilton, of New York, to this effect, Is attached to every bottle; therefore if It does no good it can do no harm. This is more than can be said of Quinine, Arsenic, orany tonic in existence, as their ÜBe is ruinous to the constitu tion and brings on Dumb Ague, which never allows a per son to feel perfectly well for a single moment. In illustra tion of these truths t annex some extracts irom a letter just received from a Physician : Georgetown, Ohio, March 18, 1850. JAS. A. RHODES, Esq.—Dear Sir: Yours of 2d inst. is at hand. The Cure arrived late last year and the difficulty in getting any one to try it was greatly increased from the the fact that a remedy had been introduced which was growing in favor with the pnblic, as bciDg better than using Quinine, —not knowing I presnme that tbo remedy they used to escape taking Quinine, contained the Drug Itsolf! This remedy, (known as “Smith’s Touic r ”) would invari bly break an Ague, but it did not cure it, as it would often roturn with renewed vigor. This one circumstance-1 deem ed in your favor, if I could Institute a test comparison be tween it and your cure. Tho following is the result: Three persons took yonr “Cure,” all of which wore cases of“Quotidianlntermittent Fever,” of mnay weeks standing They had tried Quinine, and other remedies, occasionally missing a chill, bnt it was, (as in all such cases,) slowly wearing them out, and laying the foundation for other and severer maladies. I did succeed in effecting a radical cure of all three of these cases with yonr remedy, and they have not bad a chill since. In all three of these cases the “Smith’s Tonic” had been used, and would, as before sta ted, break the chill, but after a period or two had elapsed would return. I think there will be no difficulty now in giving to your “Cure” the advantage ground of anv other remedy now in use here, Ac. WILLIAM BUCKNER, M. D. Rhode’s Fever and Ague Cure, or Antidote to Malaria, tho only harmless remedy in existence, is equally certain as a preventive, as a “jCurp.” Take it when you feel the chills coming, and you will never havo a single one. , JAS. It will not nauseate like the plain Oil, but is on the contrary, pleasant to the taste; moreover the Phosphate of Lime is, in this combination, a most remarkable aid to the healing properties of the pure Cod Liver Oil, as the following cer tificates (selected from a host of like great acknowledg ments) will amply show. No person shoold Deglect for a single hour a cough, or any affection of the lungs, lest the most serious consequences follow. Dr. Wilber’s prepara tion is both simple, and sure in all ordinary cases, and has performed some surprising cures in decided consump tion, where other medical aid has failed: — Dr. Wilbor: —During nearly the whole of the past win ter, I had suffered seriously with a cough, which so irrita ted my lungs, that my physician frankly admitted his fear of eonsumptlon’s following this trouble as the Spring weather set in. Medicine seemed to afford me little relief until I tried your preparation of Cod Liver Oil and Lime. The effect I am forced by facta to admit, was almost magi cal, and I have the pleasure of saying at this writing, (May 2d 1852) I am entirely free from any pulmonary trouble.
