Atlce, the well known attorney at law, of this city, em! grandson of the late Jehn L. Atlee, the famous phy sician. The young man had been sick with typhoid fever for about thrce weeks past and for 10 days his mother had been nt his bedside ; both she nnd Mr. Atteo were pres ent when he breathed his last. The first telegram which was received here stated 'that he was sinking. The ether which came sometlme later said he had died nt 9:30. The deceased was about 21 years of age and was born In this city. He received the greater part of his education at Yentes' In stitute. He next went te Philadelphia ami graduated at the University of Pennsyl vania, standing near the top of his clans.
