mother, and he believed she was going te live
with another man. lie was cool aud uncon uncen
erned Thursday night but next morning he
broke down and cried.
The knife was recovered from a sluice-way
where the murderer had thrown it. It Is an
ordinary butcher knife, with a blade live

by long use.
