The doubts that were cast upon the authenticity of the"dieaiy nibbish "cu culated for publication in weak eigans and for digestion by cieduleus icadeis, upon the alleged authority of Chairman Cooper, have been dispelled by anintei vicw with him printed in the XewYeik Trilu.ne In this he sticks te it that the issues of the coming state campaign in Pennsylvania aie te be Miss Cleveland's book, Jehn Keach's alleged banki uptcy, the pieservatien of the piesent tariff, and the lights of Irish-Ameiican citiens. This is altogether characteristic of Mi. Goepor-and his metheds. In IbSJ he opened the campaign for Ik-.vver in pietty much the same way. Then he dcclaied most fer vently that rattisen was anti-Irish and had made a speech declaring that the Macs and the O's must go te the rear. This being proved alie, Cooper fell back en the pio pie pio tective tariff and he and Heaver, with sundry cluuts and ether devices, kept up until the end of the campaign. Heaver was beaten seme forty thousand. Dear Cooper, don't talk. Ne Wonder They Arc Worried.
