Stehman, who was injured en the railroad last Monday night, is net as bad as was at first reported. The account of his In juries being a leg and arm crushed was con firmed by officials in Columbia. The follow ing facts have been received from a gentle man who saw Stebman at the llarrisburg hospital. Stehman had jumped en a freight train at Columbia last Monday night, for the purpese of riding te his home at Marietta. While en the cars he had fallen asleep and dldnotwakeup until he round himself in great pain and his leg pinned te the ground between the tread efa wheel and a tie. The train stepping at Middlotewu for water had jelted him en the cars, and in failing his leg get beneath the wheel Just as the train stepped. The empleyes et the train went te his assistance, and had te pry the wheel from his leg. JIe was taken te the llarrisburg hospital and his leg found te be broken and very much swolleu.
