She was with her husband when he was stationed at Honolulu In the Sandwich Islands, in the service or the government, and uLbe accompanied him en his flag ship, the Tennessee, when he was in command ei the East India squadron. His wife and hlmseir then came te Lancaster en a brier visit, finally going te Washington, which became their after residence. Since the dealh of Admiral Reynolds in November, 1879, Mrs. Reynolds has lived in Washington, frequently visiting Fortress Menree, Jtlie scene of her tragic death. Having no children of her own, she reared from a tender age two children of her brother, Jehn C. Krug, Miss Rebecca, who was with her at the time of her death, and Frederick Krug, new a lieutenant in the army stationed in Oregon. The Admiral Reynolds Pest 405, G. A. R., of this city, was named In honor of her dead husband, and she but lately gave the organization some valuable relics or the admiral. The remains will be brought te Lancaster and interment will be made by the side or her dead husband, in the family let, In the Lancaster cometery.
