Conferences with uen CroeK at Washing ton. Secretary Lincoln had a long conference with General Creek yesterday morning, in relation te the disposition te be made of the captured Apaches. In the afteimen, the secretary and general had a confer enee with Secretary Teller. The latter sub sequently informed an Associated press rep resentative that "he had declined te receive the captives en the San Carles reserva tien and be responsible for their geed be havier, but that a preposition was made te turn ever te the war department the police control of the reservation, and held that department responsible for the geed behavior of the Indians, leaving the agent responsible only for financial matters per taining te the agency. After discussing this preposition te some extent, it was tie tided te leave the matter in ebayauce for the present." There will be another con ference te decide the question. After a conference with Secretary Tel ler and Commissioner Price Chief Moses " virtually " agreed te surrender his en tire reservation iu Washington territory and settle with his people en the Colville reservation adjoining. Chief " Toman Teman kat," who represents the Indians en the Colville reservation, was present and agreed te receive Moses and his people. " Temaskat " requested Secretary Teller te erect upon the Colville reservation a saw mill, a grist mill aud a school house, and te furnish a physician for the Indians. Chief Moses also gave notice that he would expect compensation for the relin quishment of his reservation. The con templated agreement will threw open te sattlcment about 2,000,000 acres of land.
