Warren, one of the lest seamen of the Arctic steamer Joannetto, te Mrs. Berdetf, mother of deceased. The register hed taken testimony te. obtain legal proof of the death of Wanen, and after reviewing the testimony of Chief Engineer Melville, in which it is stated that the supposed dead mau was a member of Lieutenant Chipps' beat, which was last en the coast of Siberia, the register says that "the last that was seen of Warren and his comrades was at a time of extreme peril and with scarce ly a possibility of lining saved, and the probability of the less at that time is strengthened by the time which has since elapsed without any tidings and by the fruitless result of the subsequent search for either the beat or for Lieutenant Chipps company."
