The Riand street parade of the Lancaster watcli lac wry came off this afternoon and moved over iho route annouupul yesterday. It attracted almost as much at tcntinu as Barniun ;ud Jumbo. There weie nearly forty wagons, omni busses, coaches, cabs add buggies in line, and over two hundrel employees and stockholders. The Messrs. Bitner took the right of thu line and wcio folowed by 13 two-lioio wagons, each hearing twolloats seven by twelve feet. The first float had a picture of Father Time, riding on a bicycle constiucted of Lancaster watches. The old fellow had discarded his hourglass but hold fast to his scythe. The next wagon contained well painted exterior views of the watch factory, and then fol lowed eleven wagons, the floats of which contained interior views of tho machine shop and the plate, screw, train, jeweling, notion escae- incut, balance, gilding, dial and lui ishing departments the pictuics .showiog the lielting and machinery and the men and women at work. Then followed the great old Concttoga naun drawn by six immense horses, harnasstd in the trappings l the oldeu time, iucludiiig tho six bows of boll. Benjamin Hush, sou of Abraham llirsh, was driving a horse, which belonged to another paity, and which hn was trying, on the Willow street piko. Near riteinmau's p'jwder house the animal frightened at some school children ami started to run and kick. Thero was a step ladder iu the wagon, which kept up a rattle and this frightened tho horso more. Mr. llirsh was thrown from the wagon, and was unconscious for some time. He had a terrible gash cut in his head. Tbo horso was not stopped until be had re;ichcd tho bridge at .Uracil's Land ing. There was a boy iu the wagon but ho was not hint. After the accident ho went back for Mr. llirsh, who was brought to town, and today ho is suffering from a very soro bead. Hold Hobbery.
