Lite tee Short tn Answer Tlie Melstei" Hreu-n-Dlckey Gusli." Lancaster Examiner, April 11, We liave said that life is tee short te step te iilit ever old and almost forgot ten questions and issues, aud side issues at that, and intended te divert attention from the contest new going en within the lines of the Republican party. But the young man who is new gushing slush through the Intelligencer, thinks he has found something te iuake up fer-thc Iebs of his "pig with a little black spot near the tail," and thinks the editor of the Examiner should deny the eharge of venality in connection with the repeal of what was known in 18G1 as the tonnage tax, and a bill for the relief of the Sunbury & Erie railroad. If any one is verdant enough te believe that some one would pay sis thousand dollars for voting against the one measure, and for the ether, when there were already a large tnaj'erity committed te the passage of the latter bill, a denial would scarcely con vince him ' of its utter falsity. And we only depart thus much from our usual course of paying little notice te personal libels, because our neighbor exhibits such a sincere desire te protect our geed name from reproach. Easily Proven. It is easily proven that ma larial fevers, constipation, torpidity or tlie liver and kidneys, general debility, nervous ness, and neuralgic ailments yield readily te this great disease conqueror.
