A fatal accident occurred. last night en the Pennsylvania railroad near Gallagher vilie, resulting: in the death of abrakeman named Daniel 3IcCarty, a resident of Col umbia, this county. Just hew the acci dent occurred is unknown. The last that was seen of 3IcCartey alive was at 10 p. m. near Downingtown, when he was en duty as brakeman ou the freight train drawn by cxtta engine 172 and at which point he gave the signal te go ahead. This morning a wreck occurred ou the Reading tailread about two squares north el the outer depot. The tiain was then cut, the cars were brought up te the siding in three trips by the same engine, and they wcte all placed ou the track.
