On the meeting of the criminal court this morning Dis trict Attorney Corkhill stated that it had been rumored m the papers that it was the purpose of the counsel for the defendauts te move te quash the information filed en Friday last in the star reute matter. He presumed that before anything could be done it would be necessary for the partieS against whom the information had been filed te appear in court, hut he nevertheless asked that before any motion was heard by the court, two days' notice of the fact should be given te the counsel for the government and especially te Colonel Cook, the assist nat attorney in the star route cases.
