There is to be a new featurein it, - which`has not been in troduced in exhibitions of the kind iti this County—the Sale of Stock and the exchange of Seeds, vegetables, &c.— Yersons baring cattle for Sale espeei• ally good (:.Nows, heifers, o r bulls, of good Stoek, can do well by bringing their Stock to the . fair for sale. A fine Jot of Sheep would find a ready sale there, and so would hogs. A number of persons have made inquiry of the officers of the Society in regard to g2od.Cows.and . aiso about Sheep and .good' b'reed •of . hogi. Therd will be men coming to the fair too to buy horses. Farmers having s tock for sale should bring it there. The exchange of grain and seed will be an important feature. Farmers all know the ad vantage of it. Let therefore all-bring •spcb , . seeds, Omits and grain as they Wirih'ed ekchange and the fair will be one of more practical usefulness than any heretofore held. The late hour at which we receir .-ed a report of .the fine meeting held by our friends in Mt. Nebo, makes it impossible for us to publish it this week. It will appear ne;t. Ap . pendia for the 3d'seasion of the 37th Congress. Also for a copy of Gen. Pope's Report on the Virgin ht Campaign. We are grieved to announce an out. rage on the:part of,some rioters in Shaefferstown on Stittirday evening last, which has scarcely ev er been equaled heretofore in that usually quiet and peaceable community. The facts as near as we can get at them are about as follows. A num ber of Democrats were in session at the public house of M. K. Keath forming a -Club for the benefit of the drafted, when they were assaulted by the rioters with atones with the intention of storming them. They were however, handsome ly repulsed. During the melee an oldgrsy.bead ed man was severely beaten while censuring them for Ihrdithig stones at Mr. Kettih's hotel. Sense laditts.:were, alsolehamefelly inert lied and abused by the rioters. Windows were knocked out and a runalAr ordifistine injured. Such proceedings are,.a Amine andqt disgrace and should be se , N ir ;Orely liettished: As there will , be quite a raid of Lobe non folks to Pottsville shortly for the purpose of • exemptions and otherwise, in consequence of the , draft, we take the liberty of suggesting to them . that there is no better stopping place there than the Mortimer house kept by Jos. &I... Roger. Let them make a note of•thia and act accordingly. 4fa- A meeting of the remitters of the bar and al care o f the several court"; of Lebanon County. woe bold AheTrothonotery'a °Mee, in Lebanon, on Saturday.
