Wm. Kay and John II . Stonebreaker, on the afternoon of Saturday last, discovered the mutilated body of an unknown man. Justice John II. Ray, and with Dr. Blandy, of Osceola, to make a poer merino ex amluatlon, proceeded to hold an inquest. The right rf was completely burned off nearly to the knee, and Ibe left foot was consumed. The right arm, both hands and tbe remains of tbe limbs were blistered, evidence to the physician that the man actually burned to death, or at least that the hurnlna- occurred previous to death. There Was a bad looking gash upon tbe lead, but examine lion proved that tbe wound was partially healed, and In any event could not bave been taiai. There wai absolutely nothing upon the body by which it could be Identified! The pockets eon tained only a pair of gloves, a small piece of tobacco and a few matches. There was nothini to justify a suspicion of foul play, and the verdict of tbo jury was that tho deceased came to on death by suffocation from tbe gas of burning ooal.
