I sever sold a bottle of it but that I sold another; after a trial it always speaks for itself. There are two things about this herb that ap pear to me surprising; first that it grows in our pas tures, in some places quite plentiful, and yet Its value has never been known until 1 discovered BM 1846 second, that it should cure all kinds of humor. In orcer to give some Idea of the 'sudden rise rise great popularity of the discovery, I will state that lit April,lBs3, I peddled Rand sold about six bottles per day—lll April, 1854, 1 sold over sue thousand bottles per day of it. Some of the wholesale Druggists who have been in business twenty and thirty years, say that nothing it the annals of patent medicines was ever like it— There is a universal praise of it from all quarters. 1n my own practice 1 always kept it strictly for hu mors—but since its introduction as a general faintly medicine, great and wonderful virtues have beets found in it that I never su-peeled. Several cases of epileptic fits—a disease which was always considered incurable. have been cured by a few bottles. 0, what a mercy if it will prove effect ual in all cases of that awful malady—there are but few who have seect more of it man I have. 1 know of several cases of dropsy, all of them aged people, cured Icy it. For the various diseases of the Liver, Sick Headache, Dyspepsia, Asthma, Fever and Ague, Pain in the Side, Diseases of the Spine, ann particularly in disonses of the kidneys, dr.c., the dis lovery has done more good than any medicine ever known.
