Be it enacted and ordained by Hie To« n Council ot the Borough of Carlisle, and it is hereby enacted and oidained by the authority of the same, That hereafter it shall bo the duty of each and every ownei and occu pier of property within this Borough, w heftier corporations or individuals, to remove nil snow or slush that may fall on the pavements or side walks in front of or along any lot or properly In the inhabited part of the town limits where per sons are accustomed lo pass ami repnss on foot, within twelve daylight hours after the same shall have fallen : And all such owners and occupiers shall bo liable fo a penally of Fite Dollars for every neglect of the requirements of lids Ordi nance, to lie collected as oilier penalties arc collected.
