The bridge to be of the following dimensions, vis; To contain in length 124 feel from one abutment to the other, the abutments to be built upon a solid foundation which are to be approved of by the Commissioners. The height of the abutments to bo two feet above low water mark, at which point (he heel of the arches start. The bridge to have three arches, the centre arch will be 40 feet span and 12 fool rise, (he two outer arches to be of 3-1 feel span and 10 foot rise each. There will be two piers in the creek 8 feet thick and 29 feet long each. The piers to bo carried up 5 feet, at Which height the cut water is to com mence battering and looses itself in the wall at II feet. The abutments to be 10 feel thick—l he wing walls adjoining the abutments to be not less than 5 feet thick and 3 feet thick at tho extreme ends, and to finish 2 fuel thick at the grade and to be oarriea up 3 feel above the grade when finished with a 30 inch wall from grade, properly coped as hereinafter described. The extension of the wing wall on the south end of the bridge to bo 20 feel from the abutment, and the extension on the north end of the bridge to be 19 feel from the abutment, thegr-tdeif Ihe bridge not to exceed 3 degrees from the centre of the centre arch until it strikes the road on either side. Thebreadih of tho bridge to bo 16 feet between the parapet walls in the clear. The entire work to bo built of good limestone and moflar, tho mortar to be made of good sharp sand and lime of the following proportions : Six bushels of lime to ono cart load of sand, the arches to bo built of good Hat stone well bound all through the offch, the joints well broke and to be two feet thick in depth, ting stones to brake band and to be closely cut and laid and not to be less than six inches (hick. The parapet walls to rise 3 feet above the grade the entire length of the bridge when finished, the walls (o be coped with stone coping, not less than 3 feet long and 4 inches thick, to be closely jointed, joints not to exceed half an Inch; the coping to project over tho walla on both sides.
