SEWING MACHINES!
THE GROVER & DAKER
THE BEST IN USE.—These Machines have becom
so well known that little need be said by way of recotn
mehdation. They have taken the first premium at all
the late State Fairs, and are universally , acknowledged
to be the BEST in nee by all who have tried them. The
"Grover k Baker Stitch" and the " Shuttle Stitch" are
points that have been attained by no other Machine.—
They are th e only Machines that sew and embroider with
perfection. These Machines are peculiarly adapted to
Family use. They are almost noiseless, sew directly from
the spool without rewinding, and are simple in their
construction. They are easy to manage, and can be
worked by almost any child. Every family should have
one. They rare tabor, they save time, and they:.ore money.,
and do their work better than it can be done by hand.
The undersigned having been appointed Agent for the
above Machines, has established an Agency in Fairfield,
Adams co., where he will always have on hand a supply.
Persons wishing to buy will please call - and examine for

CORN SHELLER, SEPARATOR
AND CLEANER.
The underigned would inform the Agricultural
public that he has purchased from the Patentee of
this extraordinary machine, the Patent Right for
the States of Pennsylvania and Maryland. .
Brinkerhoff's Corn Sheller., Separator and Clean
er, is pronounced the best nfaehine of the kind in
this country. And in proof, it may be mentioned
that the "Advisory Committee appointed to select
Implements for exhibition at the Universal Ex—
position in Paris, in 1867, have selected this
Sheller as the belt in America," and at the request
of J. 0: Derby, U. S. Agent, a machine has been
shipped to Paris for exhibition. One important
feature in this machine is that it will shell ears
large, small or crooked. perfectly clean, and
separates the cob and char from the Corn ready
for market.
The fact may also be stated that at the great
triaL of Agricultural Implements, at Auburn, N.
Y., fa July last, under the auspices of the New
York State Agricultural Society, the Brinkerhoff
Corn Sheller, Separator and Cleaner wag, reported
by one of the most competent Committees as the
beet Corn Sheller oat. They say, "We have care
fully examined and thoroughly tested this ma—
chine, and have no hesitation in pronouncing it
the best Cbrn Sheller we ever saw." The re—
port is signed by melt men as John Stanton could,
President N. Y. State Agricultural Society; B. P
Johnson, Secietary to same ; Solon Robinson, Ag
ricultural Editor N. Y. Tribune; S. Edward Todd,
Agricultural Editor N. Y. Times.

notices, the following, from the N. Y. Observer,
is deemeitinillieient:
"Among all the Hand Corn 'Mellen made in

ufacturers more than 10,000 annually—not one
can enter the circle with the Sheller just htre4ited
by J. Brinkerhoff, Auburn, New York. It shells,

THE GREAT CHOLERA
PREVENTATIVE.
X. 1566. L
THE GREAT
Zingari Bitters.
T 111 WONwERFUL REMEDY was discovered an
introduced about twenty years ago by Dr. s.Cheop
or s, an eminent Egyptian physician.
Ile had long seen and felt the want of som• remedy
which would strike at the root of disease, and so pre
vent much of the suffering which the human family was
than compelled to endure.
This great question was presented to his mind ever!
day in vivid colors as be moved among the sick and dying,
and observed the inefficiency of nearly all the remedies
then in use. Thus :le was led to think and experiment;
and after ten years' study and labor, he presented to bie
fellow-man the wonderful Zinger) hitters. The effect at
this preparation in the prevention and cure of disease,
was Co mit - retinue and astonishing , that the mostflatter
ing mark. of royal favor were bestowed upon him who
discovered it. His name was placed upon the Roll of
Nobles. and a gold medal with the following inscription
r. B.Cheopsu., the Public Renefactor—was presented
tl5 him by the Viceroy.
The preparation has been used in several epidemics of
cholera, both as a preventive and curative measure, and
with such great success, that it has been introduced Into
nearly all the general hospitals of the old world.
The old saying that an ounce of prevention is worth a
pound of cure, applies with marvellous force to cholera,
and therefore any remedy that will protect no against
this terrible disease should be freely and persistently
sued.
All pathologists now agree that thecholera poison acts
on the erten' through the blood. and that any combina
tion which acts on the excretory organs, and keeps them
In working order. must prevent &sufficient accumulation
if the poison to exert i terrible effects on the organism.
This is true not only of cholera, but of nearly all other
maladiea, especially the different forme of fever.
The Zingari Bit tern is just such a remedy as the above
conditions require. It sets on the orgarisof excretion
and Secretion. keeping up a perfect balance between
them. This Bittern in composed entirely of roots and
herbs. so nicely ccmcocted that every organ is acted upon
and put in tone. Ito taste is pleasant and its effects
prompt and lasting;.
Numerous cases of the following diseases have been
cured by it: Cholera, Diarrhoea, Dysentery, Scrofula,
Typhoid and Typhus Fever, Fever, Agne, Nervous De
bility, Anaemia,Pomale Irregularities,Dyspepsia,Platn
lency, Colic ' Ac.
