The underigned would inform the Agricultural public that he has purchased from the Patentee of this extraordinary machine, the Patent Right for the States of Pennsylvania and Maryland. . Brinkerhoff's Corn Sheller., Separator and Clean er, is pronounced the best nfaehine of the kind in this country. And in proof, it may be mentioned that the "Advisory Committee appointed to select Implements for exhibition at the Universal Ex— position in Paris, in 1867, have selected this Sheller as the belt in America," and at the request of J. 0: Derby, U. S. Agent, a machine has been shipped to Paris for exhibition. One important feature in this machine is that it will shell ears large, small or crooked. perfectly clean, and separates the cob and char from the Corn ready for market. The fact may also be stated that at the great triaL of Agricultural Implements, at Auburn, N. Y., fa July last, under the auspices of the New York State Agricultural Society, the Brinkerhoff Corn Sheller, Separator and Cleaner wag, reported by one of the most competent Committees as the beet Corn Sheller oat. Railroad RUNNING WEST PROM OMAHA ACROSS THE CONTINENT, ABE NOW COMPLZTED TIER Union Paslfic Railroad Company have built a loner line of railroad in thelast eighteen months than wasever built by any other cpmpany In the same time, and they will continue the work. With the same energy until it is completed. The Wastem Division is being pushed rapidly eastward from Baorameato by the Comm( Pacific Company of California, and it is expected that THE ENTIRE GRAND LINE to the Pacific will be open ibr bneinean in 11170. MORS THAN ONE-THIRD OT THE. WORK HAS ALREADY BEEN DONE, MORE THAN ONE-THIRD OP THE WHOLE LINE IS NOW IN .ILUNNINO ORDER, AND MORE LABORERS ARE NOW EMPLOYED UPON IT THAN EVER BEFORE. More than FORTY MILLION DOLLARS IN MONET have already been expended by the two powerful com panies that have undaitaken the enterprise, and there is no lack of funds for its moat vigorous prosecutkm. When the United States Government found ft necessary to se cure the copetruction of the Union Pacific Railroad, to develop and protect its ovOn Interests, it gave the Com panies authorized to brad it such ample aid as should render its speedy completion beyond a doubt. Theevail able means of the Union Pacific Railroad Company, de rived from the Government and its own stockliblders, may be briefly summed up as follows : 1. -UNITED STATES BONDS Ilaving.thirty years to run and bearingsix per cent. cur rency interest at the rate ot 516,000 parasite fur 517 miles on the Plains • then at the rate of $48,000 Der mile kirlbo miles through the Rocky Mountains; then at the rate of $32,000 per mile for the remaining distance, for which the United States takes a second hen as security. The inter est on these bonds is paid by the United States govern • went, which also pays the company one-half the amount of its bills in money for transportincits freight, troops, mails, &c. The remaining ballot - these bills is placed to the company's credit, and forms a sinking fund which May fluidly discharge the whole amount of this lien.— The claims against the government since April of the cur rent year amount to four and one-half times this interest 2.-FIRST MORTGAGE BONDS By its ch arter the Company is permitted to issue Its own First Mortgage Bonds to the same 'meant as the bonds Issued by the government. and no more, avid only as the road progresses. The Trustees for the bondholders are the lion. B. D. Morgan, U. S. Senator from New York, and the Hon. Oakes Ames, Member of U. S. Mouse of Re. presentatives, Who are responsible for the delivery of these bonds to the Company in strict accordance with the terms of the law. 3.-TUE LAND GRANT The Union Pacific Railroad Company Las a land grant or absolute donation from the gm ernment of 12,880 acres to the ruin, on the line of the road, which will not be worth leis than $1 50 per acre at the lowest valuation. 4.-THE CAPITAL STOCK. The authorized capital of the Union Pacific Railroad Company is $100,000,000. of which over fn,ntaixiun h ave been paid on the work already done. THE MEANS SUFFICIENT TO BUILD THE ROAD Contracts for the entire work of building 914 miles of first-class railroad welt from Onuths, cumprising much of the tnost difficult mountain work, and embracing every expgnse except surveying, have been made with responsi ble parties (who have already finished over COS miles), at the verage rate of sixty-eight thousand and fifty-eight dollars ($88.05.) pey mile. T 111 WONwERFUL REMEDY was discovered an introduced about twenty years ago by Dr. s.Cheop or s, an eminent Egyptian physician. Ile had long seen and felt the want of som• remedy which would strike at the root of disease, and so pre vent much of the suffering which the human family was than compelled to endure. This great question was presented to his mind ever! day in vivid colors as be moved among the sick and dying, and observed the inefficiency of nearly all the remedies then in use. Thus :le was led to think and experiment; and after ten years' study and labor, he presented to bie fellow-man the wonderful Zinger) hitters. The effect at this preparation in the prevention and cure of disease, was Co mit - retinue and astonishing , that the mostflatter ing mark. of royal favor were bestowed upon him who discovered it. His name was placed upon the Roll of Nobles. and a gold medal with the following inscription r. B.Cheopsu., the Public Renefactor—was presented tl5 him by the Viceroy. The preparation has been used in several epidemics of cholera, both as a preventive and curative measure, and with such great success, that it has been introduced Into nearly all the general hospitals of the old world. The old saying that an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure, applies with marvellous force to cholera, and therefore any remedy that will protect no against this terrible disease should be freely and persistently sued. All pathologists now agree that thecholera poison acts on the erten' through the blood. and that any combina tion which acts on the excretory organs, and keeps them In working order. must prevent &sufficient accumulation if the poison to exert i terrible effects on the organism. This is true not only of cholera, but of nearly all other maladiea, especially the different forme of fever. The Zingari Bit tern is just such a remedy as the above conditions require. It sets on the orgarisof excretion and Secretion. keeping up a perfect balance between them. This Bittern in composed entirely of roots and herbs. so nicely ccmcocted that every organ is acted upon and put in tone. Ito taste is pleasant and its effects prompt and lasting;.
