THE CENTRE REPORTER. THURSDAY, JULY 28, 1016 Letter From Game Commissioner, mecretary of the Board of Game Commissioners, Joseph Kalbfur, hea forwarded the following letter to this office which is of importance to trap- pers and others killing animals on which the State pays a bounty. The letter follows : Dear Bir (= For the information of those who desire to secure bounties as provided for by the Act of April 15th, we beg to advise that this Act distinctly provides that in case the necessary aflidavit is made before a Justice of the Peace, Aldermar, or Magistrate, on forms se- cared from the Game Commission by such ofliciale, the unmutilated skin or entire pelt of such animal shall be for- warded to the Game Commissior, Harrisburg, and, therefore, it does not provide for the sending of the entire carcass of the animal, Fuarthermore, we beg to warn all claimants for bour- ties that they should in all cases ekin the animal and care or dry "the skin before torwarding same to Harrisburg, as otherwise the postal authorities will very likely destroy the parcel cor taining a raw skin or carcass before it reaches Harrisburg because of the fact that such raw skin or carcass has De- come offensive during transit, and ur - der such conditions your claim would be entirely lost. Therefore, in the fu- ture<do pot send apything except the cured or dry skin ( not the carcass ) to the Game Commissior, Bouuty Divi- efor, Hurricburg, Pr. We are trying to help you, and hope you will help us by complying with the above, Respectfully yours, Joserua EALBFUS, Becretary, Game Commissior m—————— Gave Birth to Three Ualves, Wells Guteliv’, pear Mil the owner of & cow Lal gave three perfectly formed delivery was premature and they did not survive the severe ordeal.
