A sinister movement is on foot to sell out the Democratic party to the fofamous Penross machine. This the plotters mean to accomplish by nomi- nating on the Democratic ticket a candidate for Governor who they know cculd not poseibly be elected, if nominated, because be could not c¢om- mand the vote of a single iodepend- ent, progressive man.
