All the spplicants who held a liquor license in Snyder county last year were granted renewals on Tueaday. Thanks to Hon, Charles E. Patton for a copy of a pamphlet containing portraits of the members of the sixty- third congress, Claude K, Btahl came to Centre Hall from Altoona on Balurday and for a few days was at his home here prior to making a trip to Chicago to visit a few personal friends there. George Taylor, who lives on the Bradford place near Linden Hall, is now the owner of a car purchased from a Bellefonte party. It is a runabout, and is being handl d by Mr. Taylor's son, Lyman L. Smith purchased a five. passenger Ford car from Mr. Mensch, of Millbeim. It is a second hand ma- chine, but is in good trim. This makes the third car to come to Centre Hall within the past ten days. The stables of Rev. H. E. Benfer, James Forrest and Ira Bennage, in Lewisburg, were burned early Monday morning. Chickens were the only live stock burned. The fire appears to have originated in the stable of Mr, Besuonage, and is supposed to have been set on fire by chicken thieves who dropped matches. Mr. and Mrs, L. G Rearick and children, of Bt, Petersturg, Florida, are expected in Centre Hall within a fiw days.
