THE CENTRE REPORTER. THURSDAY, JUNE 27, 1812 DEATHS, s—— Samuel Bruss died « t his home west of Centre Hall on Baturday morning. Interment was made at Centre Hall on Wednesday morning, Rev. Fred W. Barry officiating, assisted by Dr, W. H, Schuyler, Mr. Bruss for many years lived in Potter township on the Bruss home- stead, where his father Isasc Bruss lived. He was road supervisor for a number of terms, and also conducted farming operations, he being the own: eriof a farm east of town. He was born May 4th, 1845, making his age a little over sixty-seven yeare. Mrs, Bruss died a few months ago ; they had no children. There survive, how- ever, five sisters, namely, Mrs. Anns Finkle, Ashland, Ohio; Mrs. Bella (Goss, Nashville, Tennessee ; Mrs Emeline Coldron, Miss Babina and Mrs, Mary MeClenahan, Centre Hall Two brothers and one sister are de- ceased : George, who died in services in the Civil War; Johm, who died at Julian ; and Mrs. Catharine Sprow. Mrs. Mary M. Green, wife of GG, Dor- gay Green, of Filmore, died of acute appendicitis, after haviog undergone an operation a few days previous. Nhe was a daughter of Mr, and Murs, Matthew Gregg, deceased, and was in Penns Valley aboul seventy- eight years ago. All her married however, was spent on the erm in Buffalo Run Valley, her husband and children : Mrs. W.
