Automobile and Street Oar Collide Sad Eadiog of a Pleasure Trip, William Thompson, one of College township's most esteemed and well known citizens, was killed almost in- | stantly on the straets of New York city on Thursday of last week. Mr, and Mra, Thompson, their son Irvin, and Mr, and Mrs, W. H. Wolverton were traveling in an sutomobile, when the vehicle was struck by an electric rallway street car. The Impact was #0 great that Mr. Thompion was thrown from his seat, onto the street, his head striking the curb, snd was dragged by the car a distance of twenty feet, When picked up Mr, Thompson was yet living and was taken to a hospital where he died within two hours. His injuries con- sisted of two punctures on the back of the head and pumerous bruises.
