Rev. Aikens is well known in this vicinity, having been pastor of the Lutheran church at Pine Grove Mills for a number of years, whicn pastorate he resigned about two years ago to accept the presidency of Bus quehanna University. The work has, however, been found too arduous, and for the sake of his health he has de- cided to give it up. It is thought that Rev.
