EKmaouel Kerstetter, of near Coburn while assisting Jacob Moyer at his planing mill, sccidentally had the shirt sleeve of his right arm caught in the planer and before he could loosen it his arm was drawn into the mas chinery, as is related by the Millheim Journal. Only the looseness of the belt on the machine saved the arm from being torn from his body. As it was, the instant his arm was t in the machine the belt slipped off and the machine stopped.
