Dr. Charles Pearson, pastor of the Unitarian Church of this city, is dead in London, Eng. where he was visiting his daugh- ter. He was for 27 years professor of literature at Northwestern University, Chicago, and was the central figure of a famous heresy trial in the Methodist Church.
