Vonada, of Altoona, was visit- ing a few days in this vicinity last week. He returned again on Monday. Miss Geary, of Linden Hall, is at present visiting at the home of Ed. Robinson, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hackenberg, of Lewisburg, spent a week among friends at this place, A.J. Campbell came home from Glen Union to spend the holidays with his family. Miss Barah Allen, of Lewisburg, aft- er a few weeks’ siege with the grip, ‘ame home to recuperate. C. D. Wagner has secured emp loy- ment iu a large lumber operation near Milroy, and may move to that place in the near future. On Friday night, huth, an old lady last, Mrs. Eisen- aged eighty years, departed this life at the home of her son, Henry Eisenhuth, at Ingleby. Mrs. Eisenhuth had been suffering from a complication os diseases incum- bent on old age, for over a year. Her remains were interred in the Lutheran cemetery at Aaronsburg on Monday forenoon, The remains of Chase, Brooklyn, N. Y., were brought to this station on Monday morning aud taken to Rebersburg for interment. Several years ago Mr. Chase married Miss Vio- Ia Morris, of Wolfs Store, moved to Brooklyn, N. Y., died of consumption on last Friday.
