He was twice elected to the ower house at Harrisburg and afier- wards to a four year's term in the state sevate, He was an active and useful member and trae to the interests of his constituents, He was kind hearted and genial, and leaves many friends and ao- quaintances to regret his early death, He was associated with Mr, Meek in the publication of the Watchman and with Judge Orvis in the practice of law.
