Brauvsoxr, Tex, Oct. 18 It is now esti mated by persons who have been over the scons of the disaster at Johnson's Bayou and Babine Pass and Taylor's Bayou that the death list will amount to 250. Eighty-five bodies have been recovered and buried at Johnson's Bayou, fifty-four at Sabine Pass and about seventy white and colored persons are still missing at Sabine Pass alone. Han dreds of thousands of acres are still sub merged, rendering the search for the dead very difffenit. Over sixty people still remain to be accounted for at Johnson's Bayou.
