The oflicers of the A. & P. railroad, wh have served during the past year, were re-elected a few days ago. The oflicials when they reached Ramey on Saturday, hired conveyances and drove out along the line of the survey for quite a distance, and this fact, with other circum stances, strengthens the belief that there is some foundation for the rumors now afloat respecting the proposed extension. There ars some rich coal fields beyond Ruiiiev that wjuld be tapped if the road would be extended and would greatly in crease the tonnage of this road.
