It has been customary with this firm for a num ber of years to visit Ebensburg semi-annually, spring and fall, with sample lines of their immense stock of clothing, bats, shoes and furnishings. These visits were all very successful, each succeeding one adding more and more to the great volume of business done by this firm. Home accommodations, how ever lacking, only a part of their immense stocks could be represented, the desired sizes were not at hand and to be sont for, and to carry all sizes in the hundreds of patterns represented would necessitate, a w hole freight train for conveyance, besides, several storw-rooms for exhibition. Now, to overcome these and many other incon veniences, let alone the expense attending these semi-yearly visits, Messrs. Woolf i Son w ill from this day until further notice, pay the railroad fare one way of each per son purchasing goods at their establish ment to the amount of ten dollars or more. If all purchases would not exceed the min imum sp.-cified amount, this offer would by no means oe profitable to this w ide-awake firm. Messrs. E. M. Woolf ,1 Son, however, anticipate a great volume of busines from this section, which w ill aaturally follow- so liberal an enterprise. A visit to the great Woolf establishment will prove both prof itable and interesting. Many of the em ploye's are still with the house, and they are, every one of them, gentlemen, w ho are always glad to greet their many friends and aquaintances. Letter From Rev. Tboi. Walsh.
