Father Hackett, whose pure and spotless life came to an un expected, not, to say sudden end, at the par sonage of the Catholic, church at Summit villu. this county, at .out 3 o'clock 011 the morning of the day named. We understand that on Wednesday of last week he was prostrated by an attack of vertigo, and from that time grew gradually worse until death at last, claimed him as its own. He was a most zealous pastor of both congregations, and was loved and respected not only by ev ery man, woman and child who attended on his ministrations, but by everybody who knew him.
