Of his subsequent movements full details are furnished by the evidence taken before the coroner's jury, a report of which will be found above, and hence we deem it unnecessary to recapitu late the facts here. Suffice it to say that Mr. Henry concluded to go on to Johnstown and return in the Accommodation, ami while passing from one car to another, the train lieing at that time altout midway between Conemaugh ami Johnstown, he was un doubtedly thrown from tho platform, either by a misstep or by a sudden lurch of the train, and instantly killed. N"one of the wheels touched his person, but he received a frightful wound on the left side of the head, extending backwards and crushing in tho skull, and his right foot and left wrist were disha-ated. Sottlfl eight years ago, Brown Welnsrand Graham, wholesale druggists in St. Louis, were doing the largest business in the State of Missouri. Among other goods they sold large quantities of Speer's Port Grape Wine, which is pro nounced the purest wine in the market. In 18(38 one or two members of the firm con ceived the idea ot getting np a counterfeit of this wine by making a cheap mixture of flavoring ingredients with whiskey and water, and called tt. wine. With this stuff they filled several thousand lot ties, put on a counterfeit label of Speer'a wine, and a coun terfeit of Mr. Alfred Speer's signature over the cotk, and supplied a majority of the retail druggists throughout the country west of the Mississippi Iliver, who purchased it of P. Y. & O. as Speer's genuine Port Grape Wine. The trick was not discovered nntil the consumers returned the stuff to their druggists as not fit for use. Ilaaring of this in lnt!, Mr. Speer at, once went from New Jersey to St. Lionis, employed detrctives, and traced the hend-tjuarters fr dealing in this imitation or his wine to the place of Brown, Welter and Graham. He commenced suit for SoO.OOO.OO damages in the United States Court. Such deception on the part of this house caused them to lose their business, and before the trial came off the firm failed, and became worthless. This stuff is now out of existence, having spoiled and burst the bottles, so lhat none is now to bo found in the market. The large yield from the New Jersey vineyards the last few years lias enabled Mr. S;i"cr to reduce the price of his wine. His New Jersey Port is far superior to any heretofore put in the market; none of which is bottled until four years old. It is prescribed by physicians as the best, and most reliable wine to lie had.
