Mr. Krause and family will be missed by their many friends. We hope they will get there safe on their long journey. A dance was held in Bobinson's hall Friday evening, there was not a very large crowd present. 0. M. Chambers and .Samuel Arndt furnished the music. Myrtle White, of Benezetto, is visiting her cousin Mrs. Charley Arndt at this place. Four young ladies of -Benezetto was seen on our streets Saturday. Guss Synder, of Spring Hun, was in town Saturday. Mrs. Adam Wheeler and daughter Lovie, of Spring Run, are visiting rela tives in town. Alice Chambers, of Byrndale, visited relatives in town Friday and Saturday. Alice Long ard Raymond Owens, of this place wero married at the home of the groom's parents, Saturday evening. Ray Smith had the misfor tune to fall and dislocate her right ankle joint one day last week, but she is some what better at this writing. Clyde Collins, of Hicks Run, was home over Sunday. Mrs. John L. Johnson has returned home from Conneaut, Ohio, whore she has been visiting with her daughter Mrs. Asa Collins. It has been reported that John 14. Collins is building a large wharf ing along the river bank to protect his farm from the big floods. Alfred T. Smith wears a wide smile and takes six ties at a step, everybody is smoking Havana cigars aud eating choco late carmels, it is a boy and weighs ten pounds. A. W. Smith made a business trip to Driftwood on Saturday. The liuntley base ball team gave a corn roast and festival in Smith's Grove on Monday evening, refreshments were served.
