Mclnnes and Alex McDonald came over from Hulls and enjoyed liv ing again with Emporium friends. Dr. Carl Felt and wife and Jay Paul Felt, of Philadelphia, are visiting their parents and friends in town for two weeks. The stone step approaches to the beautiful Methodist Episcopal Church at this place are being repointed and repaired. Dan'l McCormick, who is being treated in Williamsport Hospital, con tinues to improve, but will remain there some time yet. Mrs. Maria Haley and daughter Sue, left Wednesday morning for a few days visit with friends in Cameron. — Johnsonburg Press. John Lind, of Dußois, who transact ed business in Emporium on Monday, called on the PRESS and renewed the same for another year. Editor Hockley visited at the old home at Muncy over Sunday. His brother J. H. Hockley came up from Pittsburg and joined the home gather ing Rev. O. S. Metzler, Pastor of First Methodist Church, occupied the pulpit at Beechwood last Sunday afternoon and of course delivered an eloquent sermon.
