The excellent comedy drama, "The Minister's Daughters" which will be seen at the Opera House Saturday night tells the story of two country girls, daughters of the widow of a country minister, who g' to New York in search of em ployment so that they may be able to keep the little country home where they have been brought up and where their aged mother still resides. The home having been mortgaged, these two daughters start out to keep the wolf from the door of their country home and to try and pay off the mortgage. The many mishaps which befall them in their endeavors, and the many tryiug ordeals in which they are placed, are correctly drawn by its author. Besides the pathetic side of his story he has placed an abundance of really excelleut comedy and some highly realistic and sensational episodes, making it altogether one of his greatest suc cesses. Every attention has been given to details in this production, as the scenery and mechanical effects, which play an important part in the piece, are carried by the com pany and are as handsome as any seen on tour. The company is a large one and is thoroughly capa ble. If vou want wall paper or win dow curtains go to Mercer's Drug and Book store. Women Do More and endure more than men.
