Bruner, a direct descendant of one of the early set tlers of Sunbury, died in that place on December 8. His great-great grandfather was Capt. Mrs. William Shaffer, residing on a farm beyond Morgantown, was removed to the Danville Asylum on Saturday, her mental condition being caused by illness which came upon her last week. The report that water was up to the second floor of the Pennsyl vania Paper Mills at Catawissa. and ofG. W. Keiter's mill at Rupert was incorrect. There was some water in the cellar of the Paper Mill which interfered with tne motive power, and at Keiter's there was only a couple of inches of water and no damage was done.
