The case of Charles Reichart vs. the Lehigh & Wilkesbarre Coal Company, which occupied the at tention of court for four days last week was concluded on Saturdav when the jury returned with a ver dict ot $1935 lor the plaintiff. Mrs. William Logan had her arm painfully bruised by being thrown from a carriage, at the foot of Market street, yesterday after noon. It appears that she and her daughter, Miss Annie, were out driving, and when near William Ferguson's she observed that the street had just been filled with cin ders. The ladies, not caring to drive over the rough road, decided to turn around, and in doing so, the horse became unmanageable and ran away, throwing both occu pants out. Miss Annie escaped un injured. Church, in the Diocese of Central Pennsylvania, met in St. Stephen's Church, Wilkes-Barre, on Tues day evening. There were present from St. Paul's parish, Bloomsburg, Rev. D. N. Kirkby, rector, Col. J. G. Freeze, chancellor of the Dio cese, J. G. Wells, Geo. E. Elwell, A. Z. Schoch and Geo. S. Robbins, lay deputies.
