He has fitted it with the very best appliances for doing good work, and owing to his ability in this line, he will no doubt be kept busy the coming season. C. C. Evans, Esq, of Berwick, is the owner ot a fine new gun that cost $2OO. He ordered it a short time before the war with Spain began, and as it is of English make, he nad to wait until peace was declared before it could be delivered, firearms being contraband of war, and, thetefore, none could be imported to this coun try while hostilities continued.
