With the starting of the spinning mill every department of the mill is now turning out saleable goods, and if times resume their nor mal conditions, 500 employes will find work in a very short time. One of the nicest drives in the State is from this place to Almedia. The fact that it is appreciated is evidenced by the number of people who drive it every evening. This too is a favorite ride for bicyclists as you can see scores of them riding in that direction every evening. A Change From Last Year. The many rainy days of this sum mer are in marked contrast to the long dry spell of last season. Last year at this time farmers were com plaining about scarcity of water in running streams. This season no such complaints are heard, the fre quent rains having kept the creel and runs well supplied with water.
